Entertainment

entertainmentLooking for something to do in the Boro?, Center for the Arts and MTSU’s Tucker Theater produce wonderful performing arts throughout the year.  If you are a sports fan you can usually find something going on at MTSU or any of the high school athletic venues. Murfreesboro has produced some great NCAA recruits who have even gone on to the majors! There are currently two movie theaters and a few dance clubs around the historic downtown square.

Parks and Recreation

Murfreesboro Greenway BridgeThere is plenty of room to get out and exercise in Murfreesboro. There are a number of local parks as well as the Stones River National Battlefield. My personal favorite is the Murfreesboro Greenway, a paved 12+ mile dedicated mixed use trail that runs along the Stones River and connects to the Gateway Trail around Medical Center as well as the Stones River Battlefield.
